How the Light Gets In
With the addition of cold wax medium to oil paint, the paint moves more sculpturally, and deep crevice’s can be carved through the many layers. This painting reminded me of the Leonard Cohen lyrics:
There is a crack in everything,
That is how the light gets in.
Which is true is so much of life. Nothing is perfect!
