A view from Sandia Peak in Albuquerque. Early in my rekindling of my passion for painting I came across this photo and was instantly drawn to it, like I had been to this place. Once I finished the piece I went back to where I had come across this image and researched the photographer - this was taken from the top of Sandia Peak where the La Luz trail begins at the top. I had been here!
