Share the Joy of Reading

Join the ArtCentre of Plano in celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Week at a very special event designed to encourage reading through art. The event will be held at the ArtCentre of Plano, 902 E. 16th St., Plano, and will include music, family literacy activities, free food, free books, and book readings for everyone to enjoy. 

Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite storybook character.

Special Guest Pat Thomas, member of the Plano Wildcat's 1971 championship-winning football team, Texas A&M All-American, and 1976-82 LA Rams All-Pro Cornerback will read his favorite Dr. Seuss book. A surprise guest will also join in reading a favorite book. The Plano Public Library's Bubble Bus will participate in the Art of Reading event
