Anyone who has a dog understands this completely. These loyal fur babies live to be by our sides. Mine, Hammie, analyzes my footwear. Shoes are the measure by which his life is guided. Nice shoes or sandals…sadness. Lace-up shoes…pure joy. This is all well and good if I'm planning on a walk—but sometimes don’t you just want to wear those comfy shoes and NOT walk the dog?
