Roots and Wings
One time my mom thought it was a good idea to drop me in the middle of the Minnesota boundary waters for this wilderness camp. Looking back, I wonder what she thought I needed to change. Okay...so that is for another day, but the theme was roots and wings. I have always loved that, and it is such a metaphor for life. When we let our roots go deep, we are stronger up top? Is that what I learned? Yikes...it makes me think of pecan trees for some reason and that might mean I'm a little nuts...I might need to go back.
