July 6 - August 24, 2024 at the ArtCentre
The premier annual sculpture exhibition
showcasing the works of accomplished sculptors
from North Texas and beyond.
Sculpture is the ArtCentre of Plano’s focus for seven weeks during the summer.
The Texas Sculpts exhibition highlights the work of talented sculptors whose works exemplify a variety of materials including steel, wood, glass, ceramics, acrylic, wire, fabric and stone. Each artist brings the materials to life reflecting the artist’s unique expression and vision.
Thousands of visitors of all ages have visited the ArtCentre of Plano during the summer exhibition to experience sculpture in a variety of mediums.
A highlight of the exhibition is the Lunch and Learn series where audiences interact with the artists in an informal setting.
The artists included in Texas Sculpts are selected by a jury of art collectors who seek to bring the artistry of sculpture to a wide range of audiences.
The mission of the exhibition is to broaden appreciation of the art of sculpture.

LUNCH & LEARN SERIES
In conversation with the community
As part of ArtCentre's mission in art education, the Lunch & Learn series, hosted by the executive director, brings the community closer to the artists. Attendees delve into the inspiration and unique artistic vision of each artist in the exhibition.
InstaGram plays a key role in promoting these sessions, with three scheduled during the run of the show, and over 100 visitors actively participating in these enriching discussions.
Never a well-kept secret
Texas Sculpts has been featured in local, regional, and state-wide print and online media. It’s no surprise people who visit the exhibition come from all parts of Texas and beyond.
